• January 20, (Sunday), Awards posted, 1 to 5 PM, Sunday hours run for the duration of the show
• February 1 (Friday), 5 to 9 PM, Public reception during Bremerton’s First Friday Gallery Walk.
• February 7 (Thursday) Guest artist panel discussion, 7 PM.
• February 15 (Friday), Gallery Concert.
• February 21 (Thursday), 7 PM, Guest Critic’s Gallery Talk, People’s Choice winner announced.
• February 23 (Saturday), exhibition closes at 5 PM.
• Gallery hours are 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday, and from 1 to 5 PM on Sundays.

Still Life: A Close Up View of The World.
Northwind Arts Center presents a juried exhibit of local art with the theme of taking a close view of the objects in our world. The pieces for this exhibit of still life art will be selected from works submitted by juror Barbara Slavik. This show opens June 3rd, and runs through June 27th.

Andrea will donate 5% of the painting sales from her new Rainforest Portrait Series.
Andrea’s fun and lively Rainforest Portrait Series was inspired by the amazing animals of the rainforest. These animals often have an amusing political take on our own relationship with nature.

Symphony Parnassus has chosen my painting, Rite of Spring: Pond Dance for the cover of their March program. They will perform The Rite of Spring composed by Stravinsky. This is so fun since the Rite of Spring inspired my painting and I listened to the symphony while painting it. Now my painting will be looked at by concert goers! The concert is Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 3 PM at the San Fransisco Conservatory of Music.
